Tip no1: Actually, pay attention at the moment.

It has been scientifically proven that for a substantial portion of the day we tend to move automatically. That means that you do everything without actually paying attention to the moment, like a robot following commands. So, if you don’t actually pay enough attention to said moments so you can focus on what you’re doing and change it around the way you want it to be changed, then you won’t be able to change the habits involved with that behavior in any given time of day.

Tip no2: Incentivizing yourself to follow the plan.

Give yourself a reason to stick with the plan of changing your life around. Find something you love(I’m going to go with the easy answer of candy) and say “If I do X and Y that I know will help me accomplish my goal, or are applications of the things I’ve learned so far, then I can eat some candy.” Just like your parents did to you when you were younger, it still works! This is the beauty of the human brain when it comes to sugar, nobody is a grownup.

Tip no3: Make yourself understand how significant this change is for your life.

There is no other person that needs to understand the importance of applying the changes you want to see in your life more than you do. Find all the reasons why you want to change, maybe some scenarios that were some sort of a “Wake-up call” for you, or a goal you want to accomplish that requires you to change your life around, it could be whatever. Just state them and keep repeating them to yourself until you understand “why” you are going through all of this pain and hard work. Maybe even write these reasons down so you can continuously remind yourself why every time you require motivation.

Tip no4: Challenge yourself

You should always find new ways to raise the ceiling when it comes to the limits of your body and mind if you want to change. You’ve seen all these “30 days challenges” that are complete lies and don’t work? Well, you can make them work. Do you want to change your diet? Cool, then take a time frame and say “I will not eat anything besides my diet for this long, no cheat meals, no giving up, I’m doing this.” Do you want to get fit? Then challenge yourself to work out every single day, continually working harder, constantly doing more, constantly improving, without a single “Cheat day.” This is one of the most detrimental things you need to do to succeed.
